Stories, or Confessions Pt. 2. Real World Application

So last night while reading fanfiction, as I often do, I read this one story. I recognized the signs of teenage drivel rather quickly. Now I know better than to keep going. It's nice that the author recognized your helpful criticism... so I don't know. A receptive student can be rewarding. But if her work gets a D, is it worth your effort and time if it only gets her to a D+?

I beta-read for a friend on occasion, which usually means I turn on Track Changes in Word and make margin comments about characterization or phrasing. It sounds like your author needs major grammatical help before she can even approach content edits. I guess it just comes down to your patience. :)
