.... Wow. And I thought American middle school was traumatic.
Speaking of American stuff, you have been neglecting American TV! Since when are you interested in Japanese media!? And it's not like there isn't any kind of borderline relationship stuff outside of Japan, you know. For instance, tonight's Supernatural:
Dean to Sam, upon hearing that Sam took up a case: "I was expecting more angsty brooding out the rainy window..."
Later, at the haunted hotel:
Receptionist: "Let me guess... antiquers? You looked the type. So, one king-sized bed?"
And then, even later, there was all this face-touchy brother love as Sam made Dean promise to kill him if he turned evil.
I saw that episode when it first aired! And hahaha I remember the lj squee being about exactly the parts you talked about. (You obviously have the heart of a fangirl.)
I LOVE YOU FOR TEMPTING ME WITH BROTHERCEST, JOHN. Keep it up.
But... I probably won't be coming back to American TV or my f-list fandoms for awhile (my fandom tastes cycle in stages inexplicably), then I'll gobble it all up at once and be like "OMG HEROES/SPN/VM/HOUSE/ETC" and everyone will be like "That's so two months ago."
Just like I am to you now! Try tempting me with NON-REPEATS, mmkay?
Also be online more! Where are you? Hada was sprouting dire predictions of possible employment. And we all know that's just silly. Unless it's like... shelling peanuts or something. (What do people *do* there?)
It's summer! There are no non-repeats! *cries* Well, I think there's new Dr. Who tonight, but that's about it.
Hmph. I COULD be working, you know. There are only EIGHT OTHER CITIES within a 1 hour radius of me. Not that I am, though. I've actually been spending a lot of time reading, even though Ship of Magic has turned out to be rather depressing. Where is my golden Fool?!
Wow if you haven't figured out where he is, I'm certainly not going to tell you. And yeah some parts are depressing. In the same way that the first books are depressing. Because it's so clear what should be done, but you can't reach in and fix things.
Aaaaah Dr. Who. I should be watching it.
And if you are unemployed, ALL THE MORE REASON for you to be online now. Even Colin is online.
