Although I've seen these shows a few times... I have no idea what that post said.
THANK YOU FATHER, YOU ARE THE BESTEST MOST FAVORITEST PARENTAL UNIT UNTIL I GET MOM'S JUMP STREET However, it is nice to see the display of unconditional love.
But frankly, I'm not sure I *want* a Due South movie in reality, because it *wouldn't* be the big gay movie I want it to be, and it would introduce new canon to Joss every lovely post-cotw fic that has become *my* canon.
So I'll just be content with the movie in my head.
I've had the very same thought many times, and it's a sad thought, because I want more due South, I really do. But I know if they make any more, they simply won't come close to the story that really needs to come next, given who those characters are. The riding-off-together-into-the-sunrise scene said it all, and anybody who Doesn't Get It...is missing out on the joy. And if TPTB doesn't give Fraser and RayK the happiness they deserve, together, they'll be screwing the characters out of their hopeful and uplifting future. Screwing two soulmates out of their destiny, which is to join ecstatically.
So TPTB can't give the characters their due, not in this world, not now. They have to fuck it up, for the reasons you gave. And
( ... )
I'm um, *planning* a lot of vids. Does that count?
I think I'm actually close to starting one of my Methos vids, but all the Due South vid plans are still on the To Be Made List.
It just has to live on in fanfic, and vids, and photomanips, and the rest of this virtual fictional world we're all still creating.
Yeah I'm mostly resigned to that now. Even though PG said in interviews that they would do movies. I mean I'd like a movie, but like you said it just wouldn't work. And the actors are too old now to do a flashback movie. Bah.
And, by the way, your version of the movie? Is great. :) Hee, thanks! I only wish I could watch it for real.

I hope to see another vid of yours - any fandom. Perhaps in time for Bascon in Oct?

Yay thanks for the pimpage! I've just finally started work on one of my Methos vids, so I hope it will be done fairly soon.
