kalypso_v came up with the brilliant idea about Raven!Charles, which made it possible for Erik to be apparently oblivious but secretly wanting Charles all the time; this made me very happy. thank you again!

I've actually lived this - doing my best to seduce someone, only to find that a third person had intervened - I remember the confusion that Charles is feeling. Yay for Raven making everything okay! And poor Erik, how much he must have suffered after "Charles" turned him down yet continued his maple-syrup licking and bending over strategies.

I finally saw X-Men: First Class in December, so I'm sloooowly delving into some Erik/Charles fic. *g* This story was an utter pleasure to read! It was fun, humourous and totally HOT! I think it's adorable that Charles tried so hard to seduce Erik, using every seduction technique he could think of and having no idea they would all fail because of the misunderstanding Raven had caused. I think Charles's feelings for Erik are described beautifully here:
