I've now got this vision of Sherlock as Tom Kitten in the Roly-Poly Pudding. Which would require him to persuade John he's got a case in which someone was tied up and encased in dough. Hm. But it looks encouraging for Mrs Rose. (Would Sherlock actually take the stand and testify on his scientific opinion, citing evidence? I'm afraid John would have to avoid Scotland Yard for weeks.)

have to hope Sherlock wouldn't take the stand - otherwise John would be walking around with a paper bag on his head for quite some time.

But the rolling pin would require two assistants. I think Lestrade might have to be called in... which could help with the Scotland Yard angle, but Sherlock might not like all the consequences.

This was unexpected!
Poor John, being bossed around by a completely and tightly tied up Sherlock must be extremely frustrating. (Not that Sherlock surprises me one bit. U_U)
