Oh, this is lovely. They are so pretty in their bodies and ways with each other. Beautiful tone and atmosphere and much character dev packed in.

I love the punchline of this little bon bon of a fic.

A new job has curtailed my reading and writing time but this little after dinner mint is just what the doctor(Watson) ordered. Thanks!

This is funny and sweet! I love the banter between Lestrade and Maurice (e.g. “Definitely my favourite view”) and the wonderful dialogue at the end:

“I'm afraid I stole it,” Maurice says, doing his best to look remorseful.

“Did you now,” Lestrade says, in his best arresting-officer voice.

“I can't think what came over me,” Maurice says.

Lestrade snorts.

“I'm afraid we'll have to take you in charge, sir,” he says.

“All right, officer,” Maurice says, “I'll come quietly.”

Lestrade devoutly hopes the old lady doesn't have the room next door, because that was a lie if ever he heard one.

I think it's great that Lestrade and Maurice are still cautious about public displays of affection. It's in keeping with their characters and Maurice, of course.

A sweet moment between the two of them, but I must admit my favourite line was Lestrade promising Sherlock a haggis!
