“Mm,” John says, leaning against his shoulder. “Sounds good. I think bits of me may be about to fall off if we stay here much longer.”
“Can't have that,” Lestrade says. “You might need them for later.”
Of course, the second scene is equally delightful. I love it when Lestrade tells John that he doesn't think of anyone but him, adding a heartfelt Szeretlek. And, once again, you provide a funny and humourous ending for the scene and the story, which I also love:
“Nnghh,” Lestrade says. “Mmff.”
“You never told me those,” John says, grinning. “What do they mean?”
One of those times when it's better to show than tell, Lestrade reckons.
“Come to bed,” he says. “I'll give you a demonstration.”

I enjoyed the Christmas Market last year, though I haven't managed to get there this year - and it does have a very odd mixture of things, including the fake snow!

I don't think there will be a surprise party planned by Sherlock in this 'verse (just as well!), but I'm sure John will think of a nice way to celebrate. *grins*
