Have you ever shipped a couple because you think they deserve each other? I'm not talking about a "They're so wonderful! They deserve happiness!" kind of way, but rather the "I vehemently dislike them both. I'm working on a fic in which Harmony and Wes babysit Spike *embarrassed cough*

See... in this fic, after being chipped, Spike turned up in LA, and Angel took him in. But Angel also couldn't have Spike running about wreaking havoc in LA, even with the chip, so, he decided to take Spike in hand...

But somebody has to look after the brat while Angel is in all those meetings! Cue Harmony. Imagine the humiliation of being babysat by your ex-girlfriend. Especially if your ex-girlfriend is Miss Perky. This fic is from Wes's POV, as he becomes aware that something weird is going on, and gradually gets pulled into the weirdness.

Spike/Harmony (of course) works for me! Mostly because I can't figure out which of them I feel sorriest for. It's like real life that way, you know?

It's hard for me to ship Angel with anyone, but when I do, it's always with the hope that he'll be miserable-er.
