A vampire boy only needs his mother. ^_~

Thanks for reading! I'd like to see if I could continue this series. I like writing Vampire!Anne a lot. XD

Ooh! Such a nasty piece of work is mummy.

she felt ashamed that she assumed her son's attachment to the girl was so fleeting

Hee! Because 100+ years is but a moment in time.

I made him! And he made you! And you made me sick!

Sadly, I've heard girls say this sort of thing to their boyfriend's mothers. What do they think they will accomplish, I wonder? Dru was literally playing with fire there...

Shiver-worthy stuff, m'dear!

Heee, thank you. :D

I think that Anne probably thought that if Will could just get away from Drusilla for a while he'd forget about her, that he just wanted a woman because he needed the physical affection, without realizing just how much he truly, madly, deeply loved her. I think a lot of mothers fall into that mindset when their sons start seriously dating. No one is worthy of their son, and he's too immature to know what he should want.

So glad to see an update to this!

Wow, Anne's a nasty piece of work! To assume Spike's attachment to Dru was fleeting after *120 years* together?? That's crazy.

Speaking pf crazy, Dru really shouldn't have provoked Anne like that. What did she think Anne would do after she threatened to tell on her? Honestly.

Thank you!

I think I had to try to reconcile Vampire!Anne as I was writing her. It didn't sit well with me that she went from doting mummy and leapt toward crazy incest town. I would have liked to have seen Anne still be loving and doting, but definitely more controlling and needing William to be dependent on her while a vampire. I think that she saw William's attachment to Dru as a child being attached to a favourite toy without realizing that her son is a grown man capable of deep, passionate adult feelings for a woman.

As for Drusilla... Well, no one could accuse her of being clearheaded about things. LOL. :D
