Well, just as I thought it would be- a pointless end to a pointless story.

Angel gets some release from the blame for Giles's death... but not all of the blame. No, he gets to keep some of it for being an idiot and listening to a talking dog. He also gets the full brunt of the blame for anything he did prior to getting possessed. Oh yeah, those Slayer deaths are all on him.

As for the rest, I look out and see an expanse of water filled with exhausted sharks who are tired of being jumped.

And I want to send Buffy a gift card to buy a cross that Joss will always nail her to.

The sharks have been jumped, beaten, blow up, and mounted on a wall... only to be jumped again. *sigh*

You know, I'm beginning to think that she likes being up there or at least that it doesn't bother her that much. Must be a nice view, towering over all the "little people" in her life who even though they're risking their lives don't try as hard as her.

It actually felt quite good to literally voice my opinions. I think I may do more voice posts in the future. It feels good. XD

This is just faux-epiphany #198. If she gets two more, she'll win a toaster.
This made me laugh.

I'm sure that there are those who are going to attach deep meanings to what happened, show the tendrils of connectivity to the show, and how everything is wonderful, but I can't do that. Good for those people if they can 'cause I think liking this comic takes some tenacity and determination that I just do not have.

When you have a writer that responds to his fans' hopes and wishes with condescension, tells them that he and he alone knows what they need and that overrides what they want, and then reacts with snide vitriolic frothing at the mouth when called out on just how horrible some of his decisions have been... yeah, Joss is like an abusive boyfriend.
