I'm a little behind on completing the pages of the comic, but I managed to condense pages six through nine into just one page. I think it works out better like this. Keeps it faster paced.
Does that mean he loses the Ursula!? He's gotta get the girl AND the boots! *pouts* ;) This comic is amazing sweetie, so well drawn! Love the image of Spike curled up with Ursula and the last panel is sooo pretty!
Well, let's just say that there are certain elements of JM's original idea that needed to be... altered a teensy bit. ^_~ Thanks so much for reading! I'm quite fond of drawing Spike near her pregger-belly. LOL. XD
*g* cool :) I would have read whatever happens of course, but my worries are eased. Oooh forgot to say.. love the superman t-shirt! :D and the detail you put into this is amazing. I'm in awe. And hehe the cinema is playing PSILY! Don't go and watch that Spike, it's too soppy for you! :D
LOL. I secretly had a fear that people who think of the "shoe" plot and run away screaming. XD I like to think that Spike helps sneak Ursula across the roofs and they watch movies from above the theatre... or something romantic like that. ^__^ There are six Jamesy references in this picture! The PSILY on the marquee and the Superman shirt are two! Can you find the four others? LOL.
Damn, I shouldn't have read the comments first. I did wonder about the other posters though, I just couldn't make them out! So lets see.. 1. PSILY poster 2. DB poster 3. HotHH Poster 4. Superman tee though I didn't know that was a reference till you said... 5. Um... London City? His song? 6. Newspaper says Gentlemen - like BTVS' Hush?
Poor Spikey, things never ever work out for him do they. And I laughed when they went to see P.S. I Love You and the fact that her Mom doesn't like him.
Thanks for reading! ^__^ Well, as James likes to say that Spike is the "ultimate loser," not in the sense that he's a loser, it's that he loses everything... and yet still finds the courage to carry on which makes him the ultimate hero. They're just walking past the theatre... and I don't think Ursula would be cruel enough to make him watch P.S. I Love You. XD LOL. I like to think that her mom does like him, but that he's convinced himself that she doesn't. Moms like Spike... Joyce liked him at least. ^_~
I don't know how, but I had missed the previous post, so I had doubles today, and what a great work! Not just the characters themselves, which are very good, but the page concept (is this the right word?) is always interesting and surprising, and I also like how you worked with the colors. Plus, Ursula is getting to be a very credible person, with her own set of relatives, jobs and favorites. Too bad this stuff takes so much time: I want to know what happens next!
This page took much longer than most to complete (I had some health and family issues), but new pages will be coming shortly! The whole thing should be finished in two weeks. I'm glad you like it! Thanks so much for reading!

Question: I can figure out the 'Dragonball' and 'PS I love you' posters, but what is the one in the middle?
