I've decided to just start posting my daily photos again and then work on getting caught up as I have time... it's gotten long enough that the task was getting a bit daunting (and, I thought, would also be a bit overwhelming to folks on my friendslist

I love the sign. I'm particularly amused that after warning you of all the dangers they don't give you your location or an emergency number.

I know! That amused me too... although I don't know how much good it would have done to have that information. There was absolutely no cell coverage up there... not for quite a few miles around. In order to call, you'd have to hike back through two miles of rough terrain, then drive a few miles to the nearest campground that had an actual landline phone.

That sign reminds me of the Upper Peninsula with all the mine shafts. Pretty country around there.
