I'm not stopping! I have already written bits of book Two, but I'm going to let the baby arrive and move house before I actually start posting!!

I just read through the whole thing and enjoyed it very much. And I'm very glad you brought Ford in, if only at the end. I hope we'll be seeing a lot more of him in the next chunk? :D

Ford was a great character - it's a real shame he was just killed off like that! I would have enjoyed seeing more of him and Ronon together! He'll be popping up in Atlantis when I finally get around to writing the rest! Thank you so much for all your supportive comments - it really helped!

Umm, yeah, the PTB at SGA had a few issues, definitely. "Let's see, turn the black man into an addict? Nah, that's not playing into a stereotype at all! Let's go for it!!" [facepalm/eyeroll]

And yes, I'd have loved to see him and Ronon together more, when they weren't adversaries. Can you see them as teammates? LOL! Like a mature wolf and a retriever puppy. :D Ford was so damn cute -- him telling John with a straight face that it hurt like hell to go through the gate, then the "Woohoo!" and backwards dive through? That was classic. LOL! I wouldn't have minded them putting him through the wringer and having him mature some, but 1) they didn't have to completely use him up and throw him away, and 2) the way they did it was just so incredibly problematic. [sigh]
