Sep 18, 2011 01:54

I feel by this point it's kind of pointless to keep taking pics of my haul, because they get ridiculously large XD; So I'll just describe what I got today ( Read more... )

Definitely NOT judging you at all, this made me want to read rest of the volumes too *___*

I think it's on Amazon and stuff, and it was totally worth the purchase! I'd scanlate it if I had raw scans so I didn't have to mess up my nice volume, cause it's such a pretty cover and well-made XD

Gotta echo eiko_c's comment and say I am totally curious about Equus now. *laughs!*

Hey, cat-boys are largely accepted throughout the yaoi fandom, right? Not to mention there is that wolf/bunny manga, etc! x'D No one should judge you for liking centaur manga especially if the one-shots are as awesome as you made them sound, haha. Totally checking this out~

Haha weeeelll possibly the only weird thing about it was the one or two sex scenes in a couple of the one-shots (and only one of them had centaur-on-centaur; it was mostly them giving humans blowjobs if anything) so I don't feel like too many people should judge XD But it does make you do a double-take at first XD

Man, I'm kinda almost wishing that you were in Japan while I'm there so I can peruse your NO.6 library. XD

Centaurs, huh? Interesting premise. =O

I dunno, maybe I should sell stuff on the comm and spread the love rather than sending it all back to Kbooks/Mandarake?? *so torn and lazy XD*

I could definitely see it being overwhelming, which was why I never offered that kind of service when I was living there. XD; Though I'd do it for my friends from time to time (like Comiket or whatnot).

You'd probably get more for them than what you get selling them back, though you'd have to write up customs slips, get shipping materials, go to the post office... yeah. ^^;;

Guess it's up to how much effort you want to put in to creating a sales post and all that follows, haha.

For myself, I need to comb my own doujin collection again and work up to a sales page. OTL Too bad there isn't a Mandarake here anymore. They used to have a couple here! Back in the late 90s/early 2000s... =(

Every time I go back there's always more than before, and even though we seriously took, like, 15 books, there's still going to be even more next week I'm sure *____*

I really like it when manga-kas take something that sounds like it could only be cracky and weird, and turn it into something that really works. I'd never have thought of centaur-based stories, but it does sound intriguing.
