Well, I'm not in your fandom, but yeah, it's hard when you realize you're one of the few involved in whatever it is that you really care about. Sometimes people just move on, or they just aren't that interested in the new _________ (show, season, cast, story, etc). There's only so much one person can do.

And yeah, you're right--except we're still a HUGE fandom, with nearly 3000 members on the main comm. It's just everyone leeches and never wants to discuss anything, or offers much in return :/ People are obviously still interested in the show in general, and they've always been accepting of new casts in the past, but... *sigh* I'd hoped enough time would bring people around.
Well, I suppose we could start a discussion thread, like on tenimyu_slash or even just tenipuri_myu. Just, I'd be worried about wank. ^^;; Since the English speaking fandom doesn't seem to like 5th cast much, I think any discussions on the subject would be unfulfilling to those of us that do love them and find more people that do, too.
But, if you did want to discuss them with other people on the comm, you could pose questions like: Who's your favourite 5th cast actor?, Do you ship anyone in that cast?, What's been your favourite 5th cast myu?, etc... You could even make the "Fav actor?" question a poll question at the top, so that even people that don't care that much might take the time to click a button. (The last option of it could be something like "I haven't watched any 5th cast myus" or something, so we could see how many fans haven't seen them and therefore know why they're not getting much loveAs for TutixNagayan, I'm pretty sure that fandom is in one of it's down times. It'll pick back up when Tuti and Nagayan start

Well that's mainly the reason I posted it to my personal LJ--I knew if I posted to a public forum, people would either ignore it or wank or just annoy me even more by saying something like "well I just find [insert cast that is not 5th cast] a much more interesting cast overall" and I don't WANT to hear that :P *ignorance is bliss*
Which means yeah, I agree--any discussion I attempt to start would probably just peter out. Even tenimyu_slash discussions in which I try and pull in as many possible ships as possible, make it fun for everyone, just...die. Picspamming is a TON of fun, and we got all of 10 people to do it! And some of those people did it FOR THE SAME SHIP. *wanted to backhand people*
TxN will come back, hopefully, but...I just don't see it coming back in the form of new contributors to fandom :( fangirling is all good and well, but sometimes you just wanna read something NEW, fic or meta or ANYTHING.
Yeah, sadly, the English-speaking fans just don't seem to be giving them much of a chance. In part, that's why I'm glad Tenimyu isn't double-casted at the moment. People are going to want to keep watching the new myus no matter who's in it, so they'll have to watch 5th cast.
TxN is a hard ship to sink. I bet there'll be some new stuff to look forward to in the future. ^^ I'm hoping to get inspiration from Maharaja Mode practices or the show itself, personally. Or any random time they get back together in a blog pic or something.
See, I feel like the only person who DIDN'T like 4th cast. I liked a few members, but I needed to like the TEAM, and they failed hard as a team for me :( More so, their GP sucked, they ruined songs for me that I'd loved for so long, and I had nothing but bad memories associated with them. 5th Cast could've been made up of walking talking POTATOES and I'd have sooner watched them than 4th cast. I don't see why people would go with 4th cast "just because" when they have the option of 5th >_Regarding 3rd cast, I love TakiYuki, and Setomaru was adorable (he was the first one it felt like really thrust himself into the role and asked people to view him as Kikumaru by taking on that "Setomaru" name), but their combination did nothing for me. They were...ordinary. They weren't horrible like 2nd cast, they were just...I dunno, boring for me. As a pair. Individually? Excellent castings, and they performed as well as they could, but I didn't feel anything from them as a pair, and if you can't accomplish THAT, then you've pretty much failed in

i think that their are more people out there than you know it that are appreciating your work...some people may just be too busy to be fully participating in fandom e.g. if they're still studying and hence there's always the endless list of exams and assignments...there are also others who want to participate but don't know how because they have nothing to contribute (i unfortunately fall under this group)...however please do not take this as a lack of appreciation of what you're doing....your blog site and the many others sites which you're active in are like gateways that allows foreigners to feel close to their japanese idols....i personally find visiting your blog after a long day at uni very soothing and relaxing...^^"..
