Sara had scribbled a quick note to Sofia, shifting it across to Sofia, praying Ecklie hadn’t noticed. He hadn’t and she sighed, smoothing her hair a little as she awaited a reply… She felt something nudge her slightly and turned to read the note Sofia was scribbling. She read it silently, glancing up as Sofia set the pen down.
“Sara… you have no idea how much that hurts… you should know better… Sofia…” Sara frowned, re-reading her words then winced, damn… it had been harsh. “Don’t bother replying… I know you don’t care…”
Sara grabbed her pen, quickly scrawling out the next lines. “Sofia… I didn’t mean to be a bitch… but you have been awful silent…I was thinking you hated me… that’s how come it sounded so rude… Sara.” She glanced across the room, at Cath who appeared to be sleeping on someone’s shoulder… Warrick’s… big surprise. Again Sofia nudged her and she read the words quickly.
“Sara… you still hurt me… and you can’t hope to take it back… Sofia…”
Sara cursed silently. “Sofia… please…I’m sorry… you know I’m hopeless with words…” she wrote quickly, catching a glimpse of the tears hiding in Sofia’s eyes.
“Who said I wanted words…” a voice whispered in her ear… Sara looked up sharply, then bit her lip in a half-smile.
“So you’re still talking to me…” she whispered back.
“You drive me crazy Sidle… but still… you’d have to fix the hole ya made…”
“I can try…” Sara murmured, kissing her lightly.
