Summary: They’re dancing in the Bronze and Buffy’s finally letting go.

Buffy’s never been able to let go, to just feel things but under Faith’s patient tutelage, she’s done just that. She doesn’t care about the consequences because on a certain level she agrees with Faith. If it wasn’t for them, and a thousand other girls just like them that came before, the world would be doomed to be a playground for all sorts of monsters and demons. It’s her right as a Slayer to let go every now and then and to blow off some steam.

She laughs as Faith pulls her closer and their bodies grind against one another. The music at the Bronze is too loud for her to actually listen to it, to decipher the lyrics; instead she’s feeling it with her body. As such she lets the music guide her as she moves with and against Faith. Buffy’s more than aroused and for once she doesn’t really care what anyone else thinks. She grabs Faith and kisses the other Slayer.

It’s Faith’s turn to laugh as she breaks the kiss and the brunette keeps dancing. Buffy is working up the courage to kiss Faith again, when Angel arrives. His negative attitude ruins her mood and for the first time, Buffy wishes that he would just go away. What does he know about being seventeen and having the weight of the world on his shoulders?

She pouts but she still lets herself be dragged away from Faith. The brunette casually shrugs as if to say if that’s what Buffy wants, but Buffy’s not too sure if she wants to be dragged away. However Angel’s practically yelling in her ear about how Giles needs her at the library and the weight of her responsibilities come crashing down. There are more important things to do, and if Buffy has her way there will be other nights with Faith. Nights where Angel or anyone else won’t interrupt them.
