See the Lights Surrounding You -- Victorious; Cat/Jade; fire

Cat sits next to Jade, even though she hates being so close to fire (“It’s too toasty!”), and stays there until it’s all gone. She doesn’t complain; she doesn’t jabber on about that time when her brother went camping and tried to make a fire and ended up -; she doesn’t try to talk to Jade about it.

She just sits at Jade’s side, and watches as everything that he ever gave Jade - stupid necklaces Jade might have picked out for herself; dumb pictures where she’s actually smiling (and god knows how he managed to take those); ugly cards for old people anniversaries that he thought she might like to cut up sometime (and she would have, but she never did because they were from him and he was always a bad influence on her) - gets swallowed by flames.

Jade would thank her for that, if it wasn’t Cat’s fault in the first place that Beck - he - got so fucking jealous over nothing. But in a way, it kind of is.

So Jade doesn’t say anything either, and just watches everything burn.
