A million stars dance above your head but you don't even notice them do you? You leap high in the air, graceful. Back straight as you twirl, leaving circles in the sand beneath your feet. So much a dancer, yet I doubt even you realize it.

Penelo

I whisper your name into the wind and pray that it carries to your ears. I think it impossible for a simple breeze to catch you offguard. The stars twinkle high above you as you stretch your hands toward them. Are you trying to capture them in your tiny palms? In palms that heal my wounds as well as they ignite fire across my flesh.

Penelo

I call your name louder. Watching you causes my body to ache. My long limbs tingle with want of your touch. My lips feel naked without yours pressed against them. Blue eyes twinkle like stars at me, causing my heart to race and my mouth to go dry. It pains me to draw you away from your beautiful dancing, but it's that same dancing that arouses my senses and makes me crave you with a fiery passion.

Call me a hopeless romantic but it's pretty much how I always picture this couple. Pure and beautiful. I just finally figured how to get into words. =)

Well you certainly have it down now.

Of course then there's the whole issue of Fran's age compared to Penelo's and the real possibility of Fran outliving Penelo.

Well I've never claimed them to be a HEA (happily ever after) couple. There has to be some fallacy to the couple or they might actually be absolutely perfect (which just isn't realistic or fun, heh).

But then again, this is the world of Ivalice. Where you can bring a zombie back to life if you know the right witch (as witnessed in FFTactics A2). So while Fran will certainly outlive Penelo, there are ways they could extend Penelo's life for a time.

Great, now I have an image of zombie Penelo gnawing on Fran's bunny brains.

And I'm not at all familiar with Tactics Advance or 2, which is why I haven't written your request on the ffyuri prompathon regarding characters from those series.

HEA...I need to start using that in general conversation.

^^; It's zombie apocalypse FFXII style. xD

Oh, the Tactics games are great. Though Tactics A2 ties in more to FFXII as you see somewhat older, and definitely more mature, versions of Penelo and Vaan in it. Though if you want more Penelo and Fran time, then you'd have to play FFXII: Revenant Wings.

... Er, but yeah, I completely digress. In Tactics A2, there's a zombie that's wandering about. You have a chance to basically trick it into killing itself, but if you choose to help, it turns out to be this chick, Romilda (or something like that, I can't remember her name off the top of my head) who joins up with your gang. One of my favorite minor characters of the Ivalice Alliance.

=D And yes, HEA should be used more often. Try using it in reference to movies or couples, tends to work out best that way.

That sounds cool about the zombie party member. In Xenogears you get a fluffy pink creature named Chu Chu that is later crucified along with the rest of the parties giant robots.

If there was a zombie apocalypse in FFXII, Vaan and his odd abs would be the first to go.
