the second one is lovely as a fleeting post-mortem, but the first one is STUNNING. the shape works so well -- the repeated first and last line (with emphatically different punctuation), sandwiching this stream-of-consciousness that funnels a whole encounter into ~200 words. I can't quote gorgeous lines because it's like every one. but I especially love the battle and the hard and the bruises. it's so hott and aaaaangsty and so very them.

you wrote "missing" when you meant "mission," though.

are you going to link this on bsg_femslash, or should I?
