Kendra Shaw cracked open an eye to take in her surroundings because she had momentarily forgotten where she was. When she saw her commanding officer Helena Cain beside her naked as the day she was born and noted her nakedness she remembered. The admiral had been wallowing in her hurt feelings over the betrayal of her former lover Gina Inviere.
