Thanks so much. I would like to write more on this pairing and in the Elfquest fandom in general. I was Elfquest obsessed back when I was a teenager but by the time I discovered fan writing a couple years ago I'd moved on from it, still it's such a wonderful series with so many really interesting minor characters.
*g* I started with the second comic series and loved it (I am a fan of cutters daugther, but I don't know her english name ^^) When I disoverd that there was a series before that, I bought everything I could get my hands on *g*
Have you ever listend to the CD? (Lovers triangle for example ^^)
Cutter's daughter is called Ember in the English series. I got into Elfquest in about 1987. My older sister had just started going to Vassar college in Poughkeepsie NY, where WaRP (Wendy and Richard Pini) Graphics is based and one day she and some friends answered an ad to help send out a mailing of the comic. She sent me a copy of the first collection (Fire and Flight) and I was completely hooked. I followed the series for a couple years, up through the first half of Kings of the Broken Wheel but by that time I was in college myself and sort of lost track of the series and next thing I knew it was really different with a bunch of storylines going on. Only recently I've been reading issues on-line at http://www.elfquest.com/gallery/OnlineComics3.html where I've finished Kings of the Broken Wheel and am well into The Hidden Years. I've never listened to any of the CD's.
