If someone had told Willow Rosenburg that she would be having an affair with Faith Lehanne she would have laughed her head off. But now years after they first met and took an immediate dislike to her she was sharing a hotel room and a bed with her. Truth be told Willow was incredibly lonely from the loss of Tara and the alienation from her friends. She sensed the same in Faith as well as the overwhelming guilt for what she had done and the struggle to atone. So they take comfort in the arms of the other that understands.
