She spat out a mouthful of coppery blood, shuddering. Glanced around her. Slimy walls. No escape. God, she was so tired. Everything was grey: the stone tiles, the dust caught in her bushy hair, even her robes were covered in filth. The only break from it was the crimson of her blood, and even that would soon dull to a brown color.
She slept.
The next time she awoke, there was a figure in front of her. She squinted, the face came in to focus. Dark eyes. Pansy. Her betrayer?
“Are you here to kill me?” A strange look.
“No.”
