Challenge 83 (BSG -- Where did *that* come from?)

Author's Note: I've never actually seen this show, so I'm going purely by what other people have told me. However the character of Kara Thrace, and the persona she wears, Starbuck, are absolutely fascinating. So I decided to write about it.
I paired her with Laura Roslin because (A) that seems to be a favourite around here, but (B) because she gets written about often enough that I have some idea that maybe she wears a persona as well.
I hope I got the characters right. Please bear with me, if I didn't. :-)

Naked
A viper pilot knows that, when she flies out of that hanger, she will not be coming back. She knows it in her bones.
Every time you turn out wrong - every time the Fates keep spinning that thread - every time you come back alive, it’s a rush.
Starbuck lives for that rush, for the blood still racing in her veins. It makes her hot, makes them all hot, and uniforms peel off sweaty bodies, grinding and rutting, in the aftermath of victory.
Starbuck can get sex any time she wants it, it’s the other thing she can’t come by so easily.
The President calls Starbuck to her office. But it’s not the President who’s waiting for her. Instead, it’s Laura who flings herself into the viper pilot’s arms, whispering, “Kara, I need you.”
When that happens, Starbuck peels away like skin, faster than a sweaty uniform, and Kara’s left, raw and tender and vulnerable. Laura’s the only person who can do that to her. Kara wouldn’t have it any other way.
