“You hold so much tension in your shoulders, Claire.” Gloria purred, nimble fingers pressing against tight knots.
Claire groaned, letting her eyes slip shut. “Gloria…” she whined. “I have so much work to do…”
“Who are you trying to impress?” Gloria persisted, thumbs rubbing rhythmic circles. “Your father’s gone.”
“It’s my company and I care that it doesn’t fail.” She tilted her head back to look up at Gloria. Gloria took full advantage of the situation and leaned in to capture Claire’s lips.
Claire whimpered. “But I guess a quick break wouldn’t hurt…”
“I can be quick.” Gloria grinned triumphantly.
