The door closed behind Max and 99 lingered. Dr. Steele strode up to the other woman. They stood eye to eye, even though they towered over most men.
“I was just thinking…” She started, voice lowering to a husky whisper, “you should really tell me your name.”
“Oh? And why is that?” 99 purred.
“I need to know the name I should be calling out in ecstasy next time.”
99 grinned. “Big talk for a woman who still hasn’t taken me out on an actual date.” She teased.
