Timidly, Galinda raised her hand, ignoring the stares she received when her name was called. As she spoke, out of the corner of her eye she noticed Elphaba watching her, her lips curled up ever so slightly.
Lovely. Your Galinda characterization is spot on - you see the thinking Galinda lurking behind the facade she tries so hard to embody. And Elphie's smirk! Love, love, love.

Thankyou :) One of my favourite lines from the book is Elphaba's "you are thinking!" and I too adore that side of Galinda that actually, y'know, has a brain ;)
