Author's Note: *palmface* I just now realized that we're doing Sundays and not Mondays for challenge days and promise to get my post in on time next week! For what it's worth, I did get this written in time, and LJ, for some reasons, shows me Monday dates on the challenge posts!
"Ah'm tellin' ya, Dorothy," Blanche wails, "if Ah don't have a man tonight, Ah think Ah'll absolutely die! Ah can't believe Ah've been canceled on five nights in a row! It's been almost a week since mah body was ravished -- "
"You keep adding to that waistline, and it'll be more than five nights. They won't need you to turn around the ship, because you'll be the ship turning around!" Sophia cackles.
"Keep making fun, Sophia, but you don't know what it's like to be th' most beautiful woman in the city and not have yoah beauty appreciated! Ah think Ah'll just dry up and die if Ah don't have some lovin' tonight!" Blanche leans against the refrigerator door.
"Heh. You think I don't know what it's like? Picture it. Sicily -- Dorothy, what are you doing?"
Her mother's voice of caution doesn't penetrate Dorothy's mind, however, as she continues toward Blanche. She corners her, dips her head, and touches her lips to hers. She kisses her so passionately that Blanche's lips open easily with an audible moan. Dorothy presses her hand against the door beside Blanche's head and curves her other around the small of her back. Her tongue plunges into her mouth. She kisses her deeper and deeper --
"Dorothy Zbornak, release that whore this minute!"
Dorothy raises her head and winks at Blanche. "Just because men don't appreciate you doesn't mean you're not appreciated." She nearly floats from the room, leaving Blanche breathless and speechless and Sophia sputtering behind her.
