Laura stopped Kathryn’s hand from travelling up her thigh with shake of her head. “Bad Kathryn, just who said you could touch?” Blue eyes met hers glinting with humour. “Instant gratification is vastly overrated.” She said using her teacher’s voice.
“Considering where, and who you’re sitting on, you should be grateful I’m patient.” Laura gave her an innocent *who me?* look and made herself a little more comfortable, ignoring the look that was thrown at her.
Kathryn took a spoonful of the ice cream from the bowl cradled between her and Laura savouring the taste of the chocolate and the sensation of ice on her lips. Laura smiled at the hedonistic look on her face, a side of her not many people got to see. Taking a sip of Kathryn’s hot coffee she leant forward and kissed her gently on the lips, the sensations of hot and cold, chocolate and coffee, exquisitely mixing and melding adding to the enjoyment of the kiss.
Tiring of the gentleness and the unhurried nature of Laura’s teasing Kathryn took a handful of hair and pulled the older woman into a deeper, harder kiss.
And the bowl of ice cream fell to the bed unnoticed.
