Clara woke to find Amy's face right there, their lips almost touching.
"Uh, morning," Clara said.
Amy smiled and kissed her. "Morning." She kissed her again and this time Clara was awake enough to respond. "I'm going for a shower, want to join me?"
Clara glanced at Rory, who was still snoring adorably.
"He'll sleep for a couple of hours yet," Amy said.
"I think we wore him out," Clara grinned. She took Amy's offered hand. They wrapped themselves in robes and grabbed towels before walking hand in hand down the corridor.
They turned off down a winding, rocky tunnel, and emerged out into a massive chamber. The walls were all dark rock. There was a small patch of ground at the entrance that sloped down into a shallow lagoon.
They disrobed and went into the warm waist high water. Against the back wall was a waterfall. Not too high, but enough that standing under it gave the falling water about the same force as a decent shower.
The Doctor called this the Arcadian Shower, he'd told them he'd won it from a fellow Time Lord in a game of tiddlywinks. As if that somehow explained it all.
Under the cascading water the lagoon was shallower, letting them enjoy the look of it flowing over their naked bodies.
Soon they were kissing and touching. Familiar lovers knowing exactly what turned each other on.
