Sometimes Donna remembers this woman. Big, reddish, curly hair, throaty voice, liked calling people "sweeties." Donna swears she had lunch with this woman once. The two of them ate at a restaurant. The woman flirted with her. Donna remembers that, at one point, she wanted to date the woman.
When Donna tries to recall the woman's eyes--were they green, blue, or both?--she gets a throbbing headache. She feels as if her body is burning up all over. Finally, she blacks out.
Donna takes aspirin when she wakes up. She hopes it stops the mysterious symptoms. It doesn't work.
