It was red wine they'd drunk together, but now it was gone. Next to the bottle sat two similarly empty glasses. Emily had always preferred white wines, but she drank red, mostly to indulge the blonde.
Neither of them were drunk enough to do something that would result in them waking up the next morning naked, with regret and a terrible hangover.
JJ puts her hand on Emily's thigh.
Emily wonders if she should respond to that.
