Squall is all business. The last freaking day before the world ends, probably, and he has finally, finally decided it's time to get something to eat. The whole world is empty; it's eerie. But at least Selphie gets to make her own milkshake in the coolest diner ever.
Quistis finishes whatever conversation she and Squall weren't having. He leaves in a silent huff. Quistis comes and sits thigh to thigh with Selphie in the leatherette booth, as composed as a cat, and plucks the cherry from her milkshake.
When she licks the cream from it and starts playing with the stem, Selphie stops worrying about the end of the world. It's happened.
"I'm sorry, Selphie. I'll get you anoth- mmf."
"No need. I'll be taking that one back, thank you very much."
Some time later, they realise that the Ragnarok is still waiting for them.
