The fact the two of them had a history, had at some point become irrelevant, given their increased vehemence, not to mention Marceline had only gotten more obnoxious, not to mention annoying.
So, they kept their distance unless it was truly unavoidable.
She also would not forget the fake spider Marceline had put on her chair at the Princess Day ceremony two years ago.
But, it was only natural that would become amicable towards each other again, given their coincidental meetings (with Finn between the two of them). Marceline would infrequently visit her over tea and strawberries dipped in chocolate.
However, Princess Bubblegum refused to go to Marceline's house. She had always felt unsettled around it for some inexplicable reason.
But, she really wished Marceline would stop calling her 'Bonnibel'.
