Penny looks up from the laptop, somewhere between flustered and angry, and decides to just glare at the other woman.
"How could you do this?!" Penny asked with a more aggresive tone that she intended. "No, scratch that, why did you do it?"
"I thought it would be interesting... clearly, I was wrong" Amy claimed, raising her hands defensively. "And I've apologized several times. I didn't mean to offend you, Penny. You're my best friend-"
"You don't write fiction romantically pairing you up with your best friend on the internet!" Penny yelled suddenly. "Seriously, who does that?"
"Would it make you feel better if I deleted it?" the neurobiologist supplied.
"Yes, please!"
So Amy did. And she apologized again. So Penny lets it slide, and just decides to open a bottle of wine and forget the whole thing ever happened. Amy wasn't sad, though; she always kept a back-up copy of her work.
