"It's here somewhere," Emily said, checking under a pillow.
"I don't think it's under here," came JJ's voice from under the bed.
Garcia rattled the handcuffs and made sounds muffled by the bright red ball gag in her mouth. Emily could tell by the look in her eyes she was getting agitated.
"Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry," Emily said. Garcia bowed her head, letting Emily unfasten the gag's straps. She took the ball out, the plastic shiny with saliva.
"I thought you put it in a safe place!" Garcia snapped.
"I thought JJ did," Emily replied.
"Hey!" JJ protested. "They're your cuffs!"
Emily rolled her eyes and kept searching the bed for the missing key.
While Garcia complained JJ kept searching beneath the bed, it wasn't looking promising. She was using the light from her cellphone hoping to see a glint of metal on the cream carpet. Emily appeared and crawled under the bed from the other side.
"It's not up there," Prentiss said.
"I don't think it's under here either."
Garcia waited impatiently, she huffed and sighed and clattered the cuffs. She stopped when she realised things had gone suspiciously quiet under the bed. "Are you two making out down there?"
"No," they replied together. Both of them emerged guiltily and stood on either side of the bed.
"I don't blame you," Garcia gave their naked bodies a once over, "I'd make out with you too. But seriously. Key. I really really need to pee."
JJ and Emily resumed looking.
