Summary: Their brief time together wasn't exclusive.
On the two occasions Delphine had met Siobhan, she could tell Siobhan was the type of person who would reach for a cigarette as soon as the urge hit, and didn't care how many she smoked a day, or worried how much blacker her lungs would be at the end of each day. Or that she didn't bother to hide the gross smell with two or three mints.
All of which Delphine did on daily basis. Times like this she hated how unbearably predictable and feminine she was. Not only that, she washed her hair twice a day to get rid of the lingering smoky smell in it.
Delphine had watched Siobhan once, how her hands were rough and calloused; experienced. Delphine's own were smooth with a vague smell of roses clinging to them, her nails manicured and shiny. Like a child's, practically.
But, she kept reminding herself, the differences hardly mattered now. Siobhan cared about Cosima, in a similar way she did about Sarah and Kira, but the feeling was no doubt less intense, which Delphine could understand somewhat.
