Kara Thrace was not one for expressing herself with poetry. At least not aloud, and the angry reds and blacks are long since destroyed with Caprica.
But she can't quite help the comparison while flying through the dark that swallows the fleet, and catching the hazy reflections off the ships. The lights prism across her control panel, and for a minute, her gloves are bathed in every color, including one which reminds her of Sam's eyes.
It's just ridiculous.
A moment after the thought crosses her mind, she's focused again on flying.
Starbuck doesn't do poetry. Sam would mock her.
