Hi, this is AWESOME. This is like everything I've been wanting in a fic for this pairing - the sense of history, the desire and frustration and obstacles. Also, shallowly, girls in a truck.

These two lines especially stuck out to me:

But already Lyla was better at living in Dillon than Tyra would ever be.

the girl Tyra wants almost as much as she wants to leave Dillon.

Girls with trucks are definitely important. On our first date my girlfriend pulled up in hers and I thought "yeah, this is going to work" ;)

I just found this and it's wonderful! I love this pairing. I wish more people would write Tyra/Lyla fics. :(

Anyway, great job on this! It's one of the better femslash fics i've read lately.
