Oh, this is beautiful--quiet and wistful and lovely. I love how naturally and gentle their coming together is, and both they're voices are perfect.

this was just lovely-- perhaps moreso for the fact you haven't seen the show (I saw people mention it in previous comments.) it was quiet and bittersweet and really nicely paced :)

I'm loving the maybe I'm always leaving feel of Tyra.

I think because I haven't seen an episode I left a lot out knowing that people who have could fill in for themselves. And that probably gave the story more space.

Wonderful characterization of Tyra--I imagine she is a hard one to write.

I feel you on the dial-up and no show--I feel in love with Buffy through transcripts and never saw the show until it came out on DVD.

Have you checked out YouTube? There are a lot of clips available and most don't take too terribly long to download. (Hint: Press Pause once they start downloading and then play the whole thing when it's done--streaming is impossible)

I found Tyra just spoke to me easily because she's kind of grown up but also angry and trying to leave. I think I've written that girl before :)

oh thank you. that's such a lovely thing to hear. I've never been to Texas but I've seen similar parts of the US and Australia has plenty of places like that.
