This album was one of the soundtracks of my childhood.  I remember rocking out with my parents and dancing with my mother.  I still have the originial on vinyl even after all these years.

Somehow in my punkd gothd teens I didn't 'get' the police as part of my musical youth. I only discovered them in the early 90's as 'not bad for mainstream' music of the 80s. :)

p.s. The fact that you rocked out to that with your parents makes me feel older than I am. I'm attributing this to your mother being just a young sassy thing when you were born.

Well I am a child of the 80's and yes my mum was young-ish when she had me. Al could 4 sure rock some police! Especially in an orange flight suit. LOL
