We had the most amazing music at church today. Lenten music is much more subdued and solemn and quiet and thoughtful, and right now that's the kind that I'm craving. I completely agree on the Lenten masses/services. I find myself reflecting more and focusing on things I've been putting aside.

I had no idea that Kyrie eleison was actually used outside the Greek Orthodox Church. How did I not know this?

Oooh, yes, isn't the Lenten music fabulous? Our choir was amazing today!

And it's Lent, so I'm only half-as-trashed-as-usual after church and brunch and Sundaying :D
