So smile for a while and let's be jolly, love shouldn't be so melancholy

Okay, seriously? Whatever construction my landlord is doing on the apartment above me needs to stop. It's ten p.m., dammit and they've been pounding at the pipes and walls and floor since I got home at 6. Argh.

if you want hot, funny romance, read Felicity Bowden's Fire Call and sequels.
Last year I loved gingertart's Being Snape, and Not Sleeping and its sequels by Cruisedirector.
then there was this prize, Between the Lines by dementordelta.

I'm somewhat of a Snarry fiend, so I could find you more as needed!

O.O!

ok... how lucky am i that once upon a time i went poking though your journal for info on Pornish's fate, noticed the "strikethough" and "boldthrough" tags and how informative you were on the issue, and decided to add that to my lj notifications list? without it, i might not've heard of this for-- who knows, days? weeks? instead, i got to find out firsthand; and it absolutely made my whole weekend. w00t!

anyway, i know neither of us has the other friended, and you probably have no idea who i am. but since i'm here and butting in so uncouthly, i thought the least i could do was show my gratitude with a snarry rec. have you read Nimori's "if this be error"? if i'm not mistaken, it was written last june; and may not be epic, but certainly qualifies as long and plotty.

i've always had a high appreciation for Nimori's work, myself. it's been a while since i've read this one, but i remember it being funny and charming, with an intriguing storyline, and very yummy ust. definitely a worthwhile read, if you haven't.

I have a favorites page here . It lists Snarry first and H/D after that. The ones with 'new' next to them are from the last year or so. You might recognize some of the other ones. *g*
