So. LJ has clarified its position. Again.

Here's a link to my comment and request for further information.

Given these recent "clarifications" (and I do use that term loosely), I may have some policies to address at pornish_pixies. I'm considering a few options.

In addition, if you have artwork over at kinda_lush you should probably delete it, and if you have fics, you ( Read more... )

At the moment I'm crossposting to both LJ and GJ. I don't want to leave LJ entirely as one of my fandoms is LJ-based and shows no signs of moving.

And with pornish, well. Right now I don't want to jump from service to service, so I'm holding steady with it at the moment until I know for certain where we might go.

Odd, that. ;)

I'm with you -- one of my fandoms is LJ based and showing no signs of moving (or even being aware of the issue) and the other is fragmented. So I'm here for now. :)

Friended your journals on GJ & IJ, if I haven't already mentioned it. ;)

Send them a letter, on paper. Point out that $200/year is an extreme amount of money to spend on any online service. (And I'd give other suggestiosn, but I'm sure you're better at "you guys suck" in High Business than I am.)

Also send letters to their advertisers, pointing out that you were a long-time paid user of LiveJournal, are stopping payments over their recent atrocious customer service, and will be avoiding products advertised on their servers, because you don't want to financially support businesses that insult and ignore their customers.
