WHY DID SIRIUS HAVE TO DIE!? He was my favorite charcter, and I loved, loved, loved his relationship with Harry.

Milly was fine with me, although compared to Wolfwood, not so much.
As far as Faye, I wanted Spike to move beyond his past and be happy with her. :(

And I think it would be interesting to see Faye and Spike together. Of course, I still think they'd kill each other after 2 weeks. ;)

I am so with you on Serius! I always loved the conspiracy theories where he wasn't actually dead, just in some weird dimension to be brought back in the final book.
Also carrying around the conspiracy theory with Wolfwood. If we didn't see a body decaying, there's a chance!
LOL to Percy dying! I agree, that death (the real one) was kinda pointless. I felt the same with Lupin and Tonks. actually, all the deaths. Especially Dobby. Why?!
and LOL at Milly. Any particular reason? But sure, her rather than Wolfwood
um Faye... interesting. Could we go with a no death in that fandom? I actually liked them all in the end!

My Harry Potter Fangirl is distressed at your implications! ;) I was at Barnes and Noble at midnight when the book came out, and I went to fandango to get the tickets for the movie on opening night.
It still gets me that he died is all. It was a very traumatic experience. ;) And I cried SOOOO hard when she killed Dobby.
As for Milly, she just got on my nerves. *looks sheepish*
CB - it would've been awesome if they all could've lived. But this is anime, so someone had to die. And going with the theory of "equivalent exchange", she was taken best in small doses.
I was talking about "Order of the Phoenix", although I have seen "The Order" with Heath Ledger (I blame my priest fetish), but I really didn't like the movie.
And yeah, Spike did die. But at least he went out in a blaze of glory. He went after Vicious and took down everyone who got in his way.

I'm not a cryer to be honest (so when it happens, open the floodgates!!) but I came closest with Dobby's death.
With Trigun, both girls got on my nerves a lot. I think you could kill 2 birds with one stone by ending the other and then Milly would have to change.
I still can't pick someone to die in CB! I think they were tragic enough without more deaths. But Spike probably wouldn't have had a purpose any longer living after he'd avenged everything.

I agree 100%. Fred Weasley, Wolfwood, Spike, & Hughes should not have died. I was truly pissed when Fred died. Why that Weasley? For that matter why did Lupin AND Tonks have to die? Couldn't she have let one of them live for their son's sake?
My heart broke when Spike, Wolfwood, & Hughes died. At least, Hughes had a noble death for a military man.
Some suggestions for who should have died (that sounds really bad when you say it out loud):
1. Percy Weasley
2. Milly Thompson
3. Faye Valentine
4. Hohenheim
I agree Percy should have died, which would have made his return to the family all that more poignant ( ... )

I'll give your fic a look later. And I never thought about how Faye's death would affect Jet. I wouldn't want anything to happen to him. I heart him.
And Millie's death wouldn't have done anything, but her constant cheeriness got on my nerves. ;)

LOL! Her constant cheeriness got on my nerves too. Unfortunately,it took Wolfwood's death to end her cheeriness. Wish there could have been another way.
As for characters that shouldn't have died/been killed off, have you seen the movie Serenity? If so, lemme know so I can go off on that.

I told you I haven't read HP7 yet! Now I want to cry! Not blaming you 'coz I'm the one who clicked the link.. He and George are my favorites. *sniff sniff* (I love them in the movies too. I don't know why but they both look so cute. ^__^)
And Sirius. Waaah! I didn't want him to die either!
Percy should've been fried a long time ago! I want to slowly slit his throat then watch him bleed to death. *evil grin*
I used to watch Trigun but didn't get hooked on it and it was so long ago that I forgot the characters. But everytime I see a dvd, it makes me want to pick it up and watch again... Vash is just so cool he's hot. ^__^

IMHO, Sirius died to prepare us for the deaths of beloved characters in future volumes like Dumbledore's.
