He didn’t know why he was thinking of her. It wasn’t on purpose. It wasn’t even a full-fledged thought at first.

It was just an image, sweat rolling down the back of her knees, her skin shining in the sun.

Everything went quiet. He closed his eyes to see it better, those beads of sweat running down her calf.

You are my most favorite person on the planet right now, you know that? This is AMAZING, and exactly what I was hoping for. I love all the lost chances in this, and how they finally connect at the end. What I really love is how you incorporated Jack's need to always be a hero, and the fact that Ana wouldn't be an easy woman to save. I really wished they would have done this in the show, or at least put him with someone similar if Ana couldn't stay. I wish she had though. And now I'm babbling because I'm so damn excited about this story.

It completes me. :D :D :D :D :D

OMG, you have no idea how happy this comment made me! This was a really hard story to write, especially after just finishing the series and realizing that I couldn't have cared one bit about Jack/Kate *shrug* And they brought Ana Lucia back in such a useless way, which made me SO MAD!

Anyway, I'm really happy this made you happy!!!

I know what you mean about Jack/Kate, I think that was the worst relationship on the entire show. I loved Jack and Ana though, and I was a big fan of him with Juliet before they messed that up too. :( Anyway, it's over. I personally think Jack cared more about finding closure with his Dad in the end than finding Kate again.
