Everyone is falling so hard for the Star Trek reboot right now. I was never even into Star Trek really (and I loved the new movie, but I'm not sure how fannish I'm going to get), but just knowing how important Star Trek was/is to fannish history, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy anyway.
I actually was really into Trek (TOS and Next Gen)...when I was in junior high. So it's in my subconscious, but not easily accessible. Like, every time I turn on Spike TV there is an ep of Next Gen and I realize quickly that I've seen it, but that memory is totally latent/dormant.
