I'm at the airport! There is free wireless! Um, so I wrote this. It is not all that subtle. :P Where does one post an H/G fic? I do not know these things

I'm deeply disappointed that you didn't keep the original name for the title! *g*
I'm still impressed that you've written a story about one of my least favourite fandom characters and made me enjoy it so much. I love flawed characters and relationships that aren't easy, and this is what was missing from the books, imo. Wonderful!
Just as gratifying and far more surprising is when Harry actually apologises for treating Ginny in such an infuriatingly chauvinistic and condescending fashion when he shut her out and ditched her “for her own good” during the War. He does not use the word “chauvinistic” though; he just says he’s sorry, tacking a loaded jest onto his apology about how he should have known there was no way he could stop her from being a hero after all.
Ginny lets out an enormous, shocked breath and says slowly, “I think I’ve never really forgiven you for that.”
“Yeah,” Harry agrees, “but I hope you will.”
That was the thing that always bothered me about Harry/Ginny in canon. I would have loved to have seen something like this.
And um, yeah, there was definitely a MESSAGE here. *g* But see, H/G somewhat bothered me in DH but the more I think about it, it's a really interest knot - there's a lot of interesting tension between two people who are that passionate and stubborn.
But also, I thought it would take Harry awhile to get there--to the apologizing part. Or to the really knowing what he was apologizing for, but I *do* in fact, think that he'll get there. I could go on here too, about how interesting it can be when you kind of hate the person you love a little bit for reasons that are not their fault as well as for ones that are. And how we're all kind of flawed and both our strengths and *issues* can come out into relief in a romantic relationship, etc.
I used to be slightly BOTHERED by Harry/Ginny and then somewhere along the way I have become FASCINATED with it. It has such interesting potential, I think, if you look at the complication there with two such stubborn, passionate people. In a different way than R/Hr which I can't express v. well right now because I just got off an airplane!
That was freaking amazing. I wish Ginny was always written like this. She's so bad-ass, and I mean that totally as a compliment. Definitely one of the better Harry/Ginny fics I've read, by a long shot. Bravo!

And thank you again, my dear.

(Also, I counter your stony!Harry icon with my trippy DanRad-with-umbrella icon. :P)

But I read this because you wrote it... And am so glad I did.
Because this darling? Is absolutely perfect - I love Ginny's voice and how she handles Harry and their relationship and just EVERYTHING. So much. ♥
