What you say about Angel and Spike's different reactions is EXACTLY the way I see it also, but didn't say that directly here, so either I am AMAZING at implying things or else we are just in synch about, you know, the way things ARE.

Seriously, I have to confess that when I started thinking about the fact that Angel and Spike lived through the birth of cinema I went so deeply into dork mode it was out of control. And I started thinking about vampirism in general in relation to the way that film suspends time and image./geek
